Use the “search the catalog” box directly under  Books,DVDs and more from the library's homepage. This is a keyword search, which will search for anything you type in the box in all parts of the record (Title, author, subject, summary if there is one)  If you know the specific title, author, or subject you want, you can use the search box on the library homepage and click the dropdown menu. Click on “search the catalog” link above the search box if you would like to do a more comprehensive search of the catalog. The library's homepage can be accessed here:

http://www.blinn.edu/Library/index.htm

If you are looking for a TEXTBOOK:

  • Click on the link towards the top of the screen that says "Reserves Search"
  • Use the drop down box and pick how you would like to search for the textbook (by title, course title, course ID or instructor)
  • Click search and look through the results

If the library does have the text-book you are looking for, head to the circulation desk to check it out.

NOTE: RESERVE TEXT-BOOKS CAN NOT LEAVE THE LIBRARY You may check them out for 2 hours and may only use them in the library. There is a copy room where photocopies can be made.
